Goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Wesley Sneijder handed the Netherlands a 2-1 win over Kazakhstan in their Euro 2016 Qualifier.
The Dutch nearly opened the scoring after nine minutes when Memphis Depay picked out Anwar El Ghazi at the far post but the winger headed wide of the mark.
The visitors went close in the 27th minute as El Ghazi cuased some trouble down the left flank, before finding Wijnaldum, who's header sailed just over the crossbar.
Netherlands constant pressure paid off in the 33rd minute when Wijnaldum placed a left-footed at the near post, after being picked out by El Ghazi.
Danny Blind's men saw most of the ball in the opening half and went into the break holding a slim advantage, while the visitors failed to test Jassper Cillesen.
The Dutch doubled their advantage five minutes after the halftime break as Wesley Sneijder fired home a left-footed effort from close range, after being played in by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Kazakhstan nearly reduced the deficit in the 74th minute when Logvinenko rose highest to meet a cross from the left, but his header sailed inches wide of the upright.
Stas Pokatilov came to the hosts rescue in the 78th minute, as the Kazakhstan shot-stopper pulled off a fine save to keep out Sneijder's effort from distance.
The home side did managed to grab a consolation in the second minute of stoppage time through Islambek Kuat but the Dutch managed to hold on for the win.
The win keeps the Netherlands' qualifying hopes alive, as they have now moved into third spot in Group A.
