It proved to be one way traffic in the first half, as Toby Alderweireld blazed wide from close range in the 27th minute, before Fellaini had another header saved just a minute later.

The second half continued in the same fashion as the first, as Marciano continued to frustrate Belgium by denying Kompany in the 52nd minute.
The home side eventually broke the deadlock in the 64th minute when Dries Merterns fired into the bottom corner from close range, after being teed up Kevin de Bruyne.
De Bruyne then go his name on the score-sheet in the 78th minute when he curled home a delightful free-kick. His second in as many games.
It got better for the Red Devils in the 84th minute when Eden Hazard collected a pass from Nicolas Lombaerts, before firing past Marciano from close range.
Israel managed to grab a consolation in the 88th minute when Tommer Hemed rose highest to head home Eran Zahavi 's cross.
Nonetheless, the Belgians ran out 3-1 winners and have now secured top spot in Group B.
