Although he was initially scheduled to name his final 26-man squad for the upcoming tournament, Southgate has instead only announced a provisional team, from which seven players will eventually be cut.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White has received a maiden call-up after impressing throughout the 2020/21 campaign at centre-back and holding midfield, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will be named in the Three Lions' final selection.

Jack Grealish, Mason Mount and Phil Foden feature in the interim team, as does Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, whom many publications have reported might not be picked for Southgate's squad to participate at the Euros.

Impressive Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham has been chosen, along with his teammate Jadon Sancho, who contributed to an incredible 37 goals in 38 matches across all competitions in this past campaign.

Competing for the centre-forward position with captain Harry Kane is Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
