Out-of-favour Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure could end his nightmare under Pep Guardiola in the coming months after being linked with a surprising move to a Turkish giant.
The Ivorian, whose contract at the Etihad expires at the end of this campaign, is set to leave the club after spending eight years with the Citizens.
According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, Fenerbahce are monitoring Toure's situation in Manchester, and know they will need to move quickly should they want to sign him.
The 34-year-old is said to have numerous lucrative offers on the table from clubs in China and the MLS, but has previously stated that he would prefer to stay in Europe.
The Turkish club is looking to make a big signing in the upcoming window, and the midfielder is considered to be just that, as well as being a viable target.
The former FC Barcelona star has made 312 appearances for the Manchester side since arriving at the club in 2010, scoring 79 goals and assisting a further 49 strikes along the way.
