Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has been frozen out of the team, following his agent's comments about Pep Guardiola, but the Ivorian's father has now commented on the issue.
The City manager revealed Toure will only return to the side once his agent, Dimitri Seluk apologies for remarks he made about the Spaniard.
The 31-year-old, who recently retired from international football. has one year left on his contract and has only made on appearance this season.
“I’m worried about him. It’s a problem. We ask Guardiola to come down to earth. He’s the boss. I ask him for forgiveness, to let my son do his work," Toure's father was quoted as saying by the Sun.
“Yaya loves the club a lot, he’s a good player for the team. He has the morale to play.
“I can’t speak in his place. I think he’ll stay. He’s intelligent. He’ll make a good choice after.”
