Manchester City and Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure is facing a driving ban after being caught speeding in his £120 000 Porsche 911.
Toure was caught doing 101mph (163km/h) on 20 May and was reportedly due to appear in court last Friday.
He didn't turn up, but his solicitor pleaded guilty on his behalf. However, the Ivorian denied another charge of speeding at 124mph (199km/h) just six minutes later that same day.
"There were two police officers involved, and one witness who will need to be at the trial," his representative stated, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"I would ask that you wait until the outcome of the 124mph offence, because one might be points, the other disqualification.
"The bench thinks 101mph could warrant a small disqualification.
"In the meantime, these matters will be adjourned until 3 December at Burton Magistrates Court at 2.00pm."
Toure will now reportedly have to stand trial on 3 December. Two additional charges for not having insurance and failing to produce insurance papers were dropped.
