A Manchester United star, whose place under Jose Mourinho is already uncertain, has reportedly angered the Portuguese manager by leaving the Red Devils' pre-season tour early.
Frenchman Anthony Martial has been linked with a move away from United in recent months, with some reports suggesting that Mourinho is ready to let him leave the club.
The forward did not play as big a role in the 2017/18 season as he would have hoped, leading to speculation that his days at Old Trafford are numbered.
According to the Daily Mail, Martial has not helped his case for regular first-team football by leaving the team's tour of the US prematurely, reportedly to be with his pregnant partner.
It is unclear whether or not Mourinho gave the 22-year-old permission to head home, although the report does claim that Martial has no intention of returning to the tour following the birth of his second child.
The report stated that an angry Mourinho has reached a breaking point with Martial, and wants the former Monaco to leave in this transfer window. United could reportedly demand up to £80 million (R1.3 billion) for the player, who joined the club in 2015.
Martial has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Chelsea.
