The Germany international's contract at the Emirates Stadium comes to an end at the end of the season, and he is yet to sign a new deal.

Ozil has now been linked with a move to join up with Mourinho, who he worked under during his spell at Real Madrid.

"We have never been approached by Man United in any way, so I don't see why that came up and who found that, that's always something that's been created," Wenger was quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
When asked about Ozil's new, Wenger added: "I don't know how close but he will stay here until the end of the season for sure. The rest is open."
The German World Cup winner has registered two goals in five assists in 13 appearances for the North London outfit this season.
