Former Manchester United superstar Wayne Rooney has revealed a story about how a certain player, who has since left the Red Devils, arrived at a reserves game in his expensive Rolls-Royce and leather jacket.

Asked recently about his experience working alongside Memphis Depay in England, Rooney shared an interesting story about the Dutchman's flashy side.
The Englishman explained how, after Depay was dropped from the first team, he rocked up to a reserves match in his Rolls-Royce and dressed to the nines, despite Rooney telling him to forget about trying to impress anyone.
"Memphis? He came on at Stoke away and messed up for their goal so Louis van Gaal made him play for the reserves the next day," Rooney told The Times.
"I said, 'Look, it's a bit difficult (for you). Just don't come in with all your fancy stuff.'
"And he turned up for the reserve game in his Rolls-Royce, wearing a leather jacket and a cowboy hat. And I just thought, 'What's the point?'
"But Memphis is a lovely lad and it's good to see things going well for him now."

Depay made 53 appearances during his time at Old Trafford, scoring seven goals and assisting a further six strikes before joining Lyon.
