Two FC Barcelona Stars Offered In Crazy Swap Deal For Paul Pogba?
FC Barcelona have reportedly offered two players plus £45 million for Manchester United's Paul Pogba, with reports claiming the superstar has already agreed personal terms worth £100 million with the Catalan giants.
According to Sky Sports Italia, the Catalan giants have offered defender Yerry Mina and midfielder Andre Gomes plus £45 million (R780 million) in exchange for United's club record signing.
It has been claimed that Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has travelled to Manchester in an attempt to force through the move before the English transfer deadline on Thursday.
The Daily Mirror – citing reports in Italy – has stated that Pogba has already agreed a five-year deal worth £100 million (R1.73 billion) with the Blaugrana.
United, though, have reportedly rejected the crazy swap deal and have no intention of selling the recently crowned World Cup winner. The 25-year-old still has three years left on his contract and the club want to keep hold of their superstar.
Selling Pogba at this point in the transfer window would leave the Red Devils with just two days to find a high-profile replacement, while the Spanish window closes on 31 August, which means Barca could still sign Pogba after Thursday.
Pogba has made 95 appearances for United since rejoining the club in a then world record deal in 2016, scoring 15 goals and assisting another 18 strikes along the way.
