Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has broken his silence on a reported bust-up in training between two of his players this week.
English publication the Athletic reported that David Luiz and Dani Ceballos were involved in a scuffle at training, as the Brazilian was not happy with the former's challenge.
The report claimed that Luiz had struck Ceballos in the face and left him with a scratch on his nose, although the Spaniard played down those reports on social media.
Arteta, meanwhile, claims training can get competitive but issues like this get smoothed over right away.
“I have got a really bad vision from far,” Arteta said, as per Goal.
“That is why we train behind closed doors.
“Training is very competitive and issues happen a lot of times. Those things get resolved immediately within the team and there is not much to say.”
This is not the first Ceballos has been involved in a scuffle as he seen in a small altercation with Joe Wilock at Fulham earlier this season.
