The Truth Behind Pogba & Mourinho's Feud Revealed?

Truth Behind Manchester United's Paul Pogba & Jose Mourinho's Feud Revealed?

By Kurt Buckerfield - Mar 26, 2018 08:33 AM @KurtLaduma

The apparent fallout between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho at Manchester United has been well documented, but new reports seem to reveal when their spat actually began.

Reports: Man Utd Identify Mourinho Replacement

In January, Pogba was substituted off during the Red Devils' 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in a league game, and drew heavy criticism for his performance from Jose Mourinho.

Things have not gone well for the Frenchman since, with the 25-year-old falling out of favour with his manager, which has even led to him being linked with a move away from the club.

However, according to The Sun, it was not his display against Spurs that earned him a spot in Mourinho's bad books.

It has been claimed by the publication that Pogba's hamstring injury in September was the start of their feud at United, with the Frenchman making a decision his manager did not agree with.

It is believed the former Juventus midfielder went to Miami to recover from his injury, despite Mourinho advising him to stay in England in order for the club to monitor his fitness closely.

The player's decision to go against his manager's instructions was the beginning of when things turned sour, according to The Sun, although it was kept under wraps at the time.

Drogba Makes Big Messi Claim

In recent weeks, the midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from the club, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain said to be among the clubs chasing his signature.

@lucky555 true. And the likes of Benni say he is gud that he even want to know how yur family is doing bcz he knows if things are bad it can affect yur performance like when CR7 had gf problem some years ago. Drogba said Mou does it in players he loves cz their(Drogba, Mou) was even worse but brought out the best from the top African striker. Ppl like to skin Mou bcz of players like De Bryne, Mou want the best but some players run away instead. Why is de Bryne only making big pact now? Where was he all the years after leaving Chelsea.
