Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with FC Barcelona in this transfer window. Here is the latest on the French 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
The 25-year-old has reportedly been trying to force a move away from the Red Devils since his return from holiday, with his agent Mino Raiola believed to have been working on a deal with Barca.
According to The Sun, however, the club will not sell Pogba in this transfer window and will reject any bids for him if they are to receive any.
It is believed that executive vice president Ed Woodward sees Pogba as one of the squad’s most influential players, both on the field and commercially.
Manager Jose Mourinho also reportedly wants to build the team around the midfielder, who was superb for his country at the World Cup in Russia.
The player, however, sees his future at the Catalan giants, but the club are unwilling to listen to any offers for now.
It was said recently that Pogba and Mourinho had yet another bust up following the player’s comments after United’s first league match of the season against Leicester.
It appears that the former Juventus player will now have to wait until January to look for a move again.
