Reports suggest that Manchester United star Jesse Lingard could be playing for a different Premier League team before this month ends.

According to Luke Thomas of the Daily Telegraph, the Red Devils are considering selling the 29-year-old in this January transfer window after Newcastle United tabled a very "generous and extremely tempting offer" for his services. 

The reported £12 million (R247 million) fee could be enough for United to let the attacking midfielder go considering he has only six months left on his contract.

Earlier in the week, it was said that United had rejected an offer from the Magpies' to take Lingard on loan as they were looking to move the England international on permanently.
