Three Man Utd Stars Told To Leave

A former Manchester United player has urged three current first-team stars to leave the club in search of regular game time.

As Ralf Rangnick aims to improve his side’s performances, his job seems to be made more difficult by the reported unrest in the squad as several senior players are believed to be frustrated by a lack of minutes.

Back-up goalkeeper Dean Henderson recently asked to be let go in this January transfer window, though his request was turned down by the 63-year-old interim boss.

More players in the set-up appear frustrated with their bench roles, with ex-United striker Dimitar Berbatov feeling the likes of Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Henderson should leave the club.

"I'm not surprised to see that Dean Henderson has handed in a transfer request, I was expecting it. Same for Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial," he told Betfair.

"These players aren't playing and it's clear they aren't happy and as long as they love what they do, playing football, they should move.

"Henderson was bought to play in his view, David de Gea was going through a difficult period," Berbatov added.

"Signings can galvanise a player, you're not at your best then all of a sudden you have competition, so, you gather yourself and start producing.
