The 29-year-old has missed large parts of the season with a knee injury, and also tested positive for COVID-19 early in the campaign, which has lead to him just featuring in five games for the Reds so far.
Meanwhile, he asked to pick his five-a-side dream team, but opted against naming any of his teammates.
"I always say that more than the best players I always choose the best chemistry and the best friends I have in football," he told LFCTV.
He then selected his brother Rafinha, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, himself, former FC Barcelona colleague Jonathan dos Santos, who is now on the books of LA Galaxy, Leeds United forward Rodrigo Moreno as well as Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
"The only problem is somebody has to defend," he added.
Thiago could make his next Liverpool appearance when the Reds face new league leaders Manchester United in a top-of-the-table clash on Sunday.
