With former Watford attacker Richarlison having joined Everton this week, here are the 10 most expensive Brazilian players who have played in the English top flight.

Liverpool's new No. 1 Alisson Becker is officially the most expensive Selecao star to play in England as he cost the Merseyside club £56.25 million (R980 million), as per Transfermarkt. The goalkeeper was bought from Serie A outfit AS Roma last week, and is expected to replace Loris Karius between the sticks.

In second spot Manchester United midfielder Fred, who signed for a reported fee of £53.10 million (R925 million) last month. The Brazilian, who travelled to the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the Selecao, did not get a kick during the showpiece in Russia, but is expected to play an important role under Jose Mourinho.

Everton new boy Richarlison and Liverpool's Fabinho are tied in third, having both moved to EPL clubs for a fee of £40.50 million (R706 million). The forward moved to the Toffees from Watford this week, while defensive midfielder Fabinho joined the Reds from Monaco earlier in this window.

Former Real Madrid and AC Milan striker Robinho is the Premier League's fifth most expensive Brazilian, having joined Manchester City for a fee of £38.70 million (R674 million) back in the 2008/09 campaign.

Making up the rest of the 10 most expensive Brazilians in the EPL ever, according to Transfermarkt, are Roberto Firmino, Ederson, Fernandinho, Felipe Anderson and Willian, respectively.
