The Reds' 39-match unbeaten streak, which extends all the way back to January 2019, is the third-longest unbeaten run in the Premier League's history. Jurgen Klopp's men are currently runaway log leaders in the 2019/20 campaign, and look set to claim a first league title since 1990.
The Merseysiders' current form is bettered by only two sides in the competition's history, one of which was Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team across 2004 and 2005. Under the current Spurs boss' leadership, the Blues went 40 games unbeaten and charged to the title in each of the Portuguese tactician's first two seasons at the club.
While both aforementioned teams have gone more than 38 games unbeaten, the length of a full season, only one club has managed to do so in a single campaign in modern history. That honour falls to Arsenal's "Invincibles", who completed the entire 2003/04 season unbeaten before ultimately falling to Manchester United after 49 games without defeat.
The Red Devils themselves feature three times in the league's top 10 longest unbeaten runs – you can see the full list by scrolling through the gallery above!
