According to the Daily Mail, Ten Hag will be doubling his salary from the one he receives at Ajax Amsterdam when he takes to the dugout at Old Trafford come the beginning of the 2022/23 season.
The 52-year-old will reportedly be earning £9 million (R180 million) a season over the course of his three-year deal in Manchester.
This figure would place Ten Hag firmly in the top five of the league's highest-earning managers, ahead of 2020/21 UEFA Champions League-winning coach Thomas Tuchel and former Red Devils boss David Moyes, now in charge of West Ham United.

Ten Hag would still be behind some reputable names, though, such as Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte, who won the Premier League title with Chelsea in the 2016/17 season.
Like the actual EPL log, Pep Guardiola leads the list as the best-paid manager in England, with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp just behind him in second place.
