The battle for Europe hots up on Sunday as Manchester United host sixth place Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
Having being dumped out of the FA Cup at home against Arsenal the Red Devils only have the Premier League to worry about, but the form doesn’t look good going into this game.
Tottenham on the other hand go into this game with a bit of confidence around them, they may have lost the Capital One Cup Final and in the Europa League, but managed to win their last two Premier League games.
The Lillywhites have drawn their last three home games against United, they are unbeaten in 5 meetings, last losing over three years ago and the Manchester club.
Even though the Red Devils may seem out of form, manager Louis Van Gaal has built a side that is hard to beat over the recent months, as they have only lost three games in their last 23 matches in all competitions.
Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has scored four goals in his last five matches since returning to a more attacking role. While on the other side, Spurs have Harry Kane who has been in blistering form.
Here’s how the teams line up.
Manchester United: De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Carrick, Herrera, Mata, Fellaini, Young, Rooney
Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Townsend; Kane
