With superstar Son Heung-min set to be rewarded for his form at Tottenham Hotspur with a bumper new contract, the details of the deal have now reportedly revealed.
The South Korean has enjoyed a remarkable start to the 2020/21 season, having already contributed to 14 goals in 11 matches across all competitions.
According to Football Insider, Spurs owner Joe Lewis is said to have approved a new contract for Son, which could be announced before the end of the year.
It is claimed the 28-year-old will be given a contract that extends beyond his current deal in 2023, and will see him earn £200 000 (R4.2 million) a week, which £60 000 (R1.2 million) more than he earns now.
If he does agree to the deal, Son will join Harry Kane as one of the club's best-paid players, although neither of them take home nearly as much as on-loan Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, who is said to be on £300 000 (R6.3 million) a week in London.
Since his arrival at the Lilywhites in 2015, Son has scored 95 goals and assisted a further 51 strikes in 240 matches.
