Serie A Star To Snub Manchester United For Manchester City?
An in-demand Serie A star has reportedly indicated he is willing to snub a move to Manchester United in favour of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
According to The Sun, both clubs are monitoring Napoli midfielder Jorginho, who is believed to be more interested in joining the Citizens than the Red Devils.
Guardiola, who recently won his first Premier League title, is apparently looking for a replacement for Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure, and has identified the Italy international as a possible target.
The English champions are also said to be keeping a close eye on Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred and Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara.
United, meanwhile, are also in the market for a midfielder or two in a bid to fill Michael Carrick and possibly Marouane Fellaini's places in the squad.
Jose Mourinho's men have been linked with the same abovementioned stars, but it seems they could lose out on Jorginho, who would apparently prefer to play under the Spaniard.
The 26-year-old, who was born in Brazil but represents Italy, has been a regular for Napoli this season, having made 35 appearances for the club so far in this campaign.
