Manchester City superstar Sergio Aguero has become the first South American player to reach a spectacular milestone.
The Citizens took on Newcastle United on Tuesday night in the Premier League, with Rafael Benitez's men doing enough to walk away with a point after the teams drew 1-1.
It was Aguero who scored City's goal, and it was his 100th strike in England's top flight, making him the only South American player to have achieved this feat.
The former Atletico Madrid man is also the second fastest player to reach 100 EPL goals, doing so in 147 games – Newcastle legend Alan Shearer achieved that landmark in 124 matches.
Aguero has missed 12 games in all competitions this season through injuries, but, despite this, he has kept himself near the top of the goalscoring charts.
Only Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane (24) and Leicester City's Jamie Vardy (22) have scored more league goals than Aguero (22) this campaign.
