Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, who has scored 201 goals for the club, has briefly explained how he struggled in his first campaign at the Citizens.
The Argentine joined the Manchester side in 2011 from Atletico Madrid, and has gone on to become arguably the club’s most lethal striker in their long history.
Aguero, however, recently explained that it was not always smooth sailing in England, as he battled heavily in his debut season.
"The first season I was here, I really suffered," he said, according to the Daily Mail.
"There was a match we played in the snow – it was horrible.
"There was ice on my face, and I almost asked to be subbed off. I swear my hands hurt, my face, everything."
Since moving to City, the former Atletico Madrid man has grown into one of the finest strikers England has seen.
The 30-year-old has struck 143 Premier League goals for City in 207 matches, while 26 of his strikes for the club have come in the UEFA Champions League.
