With Liverpool on the verge of securing a historic Premier League triumph, star player Sadio Mane has backed calls for manager Jurgen Klopp to have a statue erected outside the stadium in his honour.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year was speaking in an interview with BBC when he revealed that it would be "an honour"" to see Klopp immortalised with a statue outside Anfield following his success with the club.
"For sure I think there will be one because he is a great manager and he is doing very well for the club and the players," Mane said.

"He has his specific way of doing things and he gives his players more responsibility on the pitch which is really important.
"At the same time, he is very friendly with his players so that is one of his big strengths."
Liverpool's stadium already displays statues of former managers Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley, who are the club's two most successful coaches of all time.
