Manchester United legend Roy Keane has slammed Manchester City Sergio Aguero for "piling on the pounds" while recovering from injury.
The City forward was left out of the squad for the Manchester club's match against Liverpool on the weekend, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Aguero is currently dealing with a hamstring issue, having recently overcome a knee injury, and Keane believes the Argentina international has not been looking after himself during the process.
"My issue with Aguero when he came back was he looked overweight," the Irishman said during a Sky Sports broadcast.
"Sometimes you can be out injured and hit the ground running. This idea that players need two or three months to get up to speed...
"I was worried; when he came back he looked really, really heavy. It's difficult to get up to speed, but don't be piling on the pounds."
