Reports: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Will Leave Manchester United This Month
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly been told he is free to leave Old Trafford this month, amid constant links with an MLS club.
According to ESPN, the 36-year-old has been told he may leave the Red Devils this month in order to try to seal a move to LA Galaxy.
The former Sweden international joined the English giants on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, but has not played for the club since December 2017.
Ibrahimovic, who has less than four months left on his current deal at Old Trafford, is said to have been told by Jose Mourinho that he can leave now in order for him to start his adventure with his new club.
It is believed that the Swede is determined to continue to play despite his recent run of injuries, which has seen him spend an extensive amount of time on the sidelines over the past year.
LA Galaxy have been long-term admirers of the former FC Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG star, and are considered the frontrunners to land the striker's signature.
Ibrahimovic, who lifted the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League title with the Premier League club, has made 53 appearances for the English giants since joining, scoring 29 goals and assisting a further 10 strikes.
