A Real Madrid starlet has reportedly threatened to leave Los Blancos for reigning Premier League champions Chelsea if his demands are not met in the coming months.
Europe's 10 Biggest Free Agents Next Season
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Marco Asensio has told Real president Florentino Perez that he will force a move to the Blues if he is not given an opportunity to shine at the club.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is apparently concerned about the lack of playing time he has been receiving under manager Zinedine Zidane.
Asensio had a fantastic start to the season, scoring twice in the Spanish Super Cup win over FC Barcelona, but has since been relegated to the bench more often than not.
With Real struggling to score in recent weeks, it has been a surprise for some that Zidane has not called upon the Spain international more, and this has apparently made the youngster despondent.
It is believed the Spaniard is keen on linking up with his former teammate Alvaro Morata at Chelsea, and could try and push for a move to the London club if Zidane does not start trusting him more.
