Reports: Pep Guardiola Wants Real Madrid Star At Manchester City
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly plotting a big move for one of Real Madrid’s most talented attacking stars.
Despite the Citizens having dominated in England this season, Guardiola is reportedly still looking for ways to improve his side.
City’s array of attacking options has seen them blow teams away in the Premier League in this campaign, while they have been just as threatening in the UEFA Champions League.
According to The Sun, Guardiola is already thinking about how his side can strengthen ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The report claims the Spaniard has asked City’s board to make a £75 million (R1.2 billion) move for Los Blancos playmaker Isco, who recently seems to have fallen down the pecking order at Real.
It is believed that the 25-year-old has snubbed the English club’s advances on a couple of occasions, but would not mind playing under Guardiola.
Isco has played just one full game in LaLiga since November, while he has not completed the full 90 minutes in any UEFA Champions League match this season.
The Spaniard has featured on 40 occasions for Real across all competitions in this campaign, scoring just seven times and assisting the same amount.
What impact do you think Isco would have at City? Let us know in the comments section below.
