After agreeing to take a pay cut on his £20 million annual salary, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be hugely disappointed in many of his Citizens players.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spaniard has been left unimpressed by the attitude of players in his side who are yet to reach an agreement over a pay cut.
Many players in the Premier League have already agreed to wage cuts amid the coronavirus outbreak, but it has been claimed that the Manchester club and some of its first-team stars are not yet on the same page.
It is said that Guardiola is happy to take a cut on his salary, which is said to be worth £20 million (R406 million) a year, and is hoping to be met halfway by his players in the coming days.
While some players have given the green light over wage cuts, others in the dressing room are reportedly playing hardball.
It is believed the former FC Barcelona manager might try to get involved in the discussions to reach an agreement sooner rather than later, and keeps things civil between his team and the club's board.
There are similar issues at Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, and all four clubs will reportedly raise their concerns in a conference call with Premier League officials on Friday.
