Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen on reuniting with one of his former FC Barcelona stars in the transfer window.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Spaniard is keen on signing Juventus fullback Dani Alves for the Etihad club.
The Citizens are in desperate need of right back after allowing Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna to leave at the end of the previous campaign.
Alves has one season left on his current contract with the Bianconeri, but City want to lure him to the Premier League, a league he is yet to play in.
This is reportedly the second time the Citizens will attempt to sign the Brazilian – they apparently tried to secure his signature in 2010 after he had a contract row with then club Barcelona.
However, Guardiola could expect to some stiff competition for the 34-year-old from Premier League champions Chelsea.
The Manchester club is also reportedly interested in Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker for the right back position, but an official bid is yet to be made.
Since joining Juventus, the Selecao star has won the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia, and also made it all the way to the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League final.
