It is believed that superstar Paul Pogba is still looking to quit Manchester United in this transfer window due to his poor relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, and he has reportedly identified the next club he wants to play for.
Following United’s 2-1 win over Leicester City last weekend, the Frenchman said in an interview that there are certain things he could not talk about over fears of being fined.
Despite being named captain by Mourinho, reports are suggesting that Pogba is still not happy at the Red Devils because of his fallout with the boss.
The player was also reportedly upset by his club manager’s comments on him during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, while he clashed with the Portuguese coach last season already.
According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder sees his future at Spanish giants FC Barcelona, even if his relationship with Mourinho improves over the next few weeks.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola was believed to be in Spain trying to plot a move for his client last month, though the Catalan club have since stated that they will not be pursuing the player in this transfer window.
Before he left Juventus in 2016, the 25-year-old said he would love to play alongside Lionel Messi one day, which could be one of the reasons behind his desire to join the Blaugrana.
Pogba scored in United’s victory over Leicester last week Friday, and will be key in their upcoming match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
