Reports: Paul Pogba Regrets Snubbing Real Madrid For Manchester United
A shock report has claimed that Manchester United’s struggling superstar Paul Pogba regrets snubbing Real Madrid for the Red Devils.
According to L'Equipe, the Frenchman is having doubts as to whether or not he made the right decision to return to United in 2016, instead of joining Los Blancos.
The Spanish giants were said to be after the midfielder before he rejoined the Premier League club, interest that Pogba was charmed by.
It has been claimed that Pogba is beginning to regret his decision, despite the player often insisting that United have always had a place in his heart.
The 24-year-old is said to want to play with more attacking freedom, something Jose Mourinho has not allowed him at the Red Devils.
Pogba's defensive shortcomings were exposed in the team's 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur three EPL gameweeks ago, which resulted in his manager taking him off the field early in the second half.
The midfielder was then dropped to the bench for United's win over Huddersfield, while he was again taken off during their loss to Newcastle United.
Despite the recent criticism of the Frenchman, only Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Leroy Sane (10) have more league assists than Pogba (9), who has missed 10 games this season due to injury and suspension.
