According to, Belgium international Marouane Fellaini has had talks with the French club in the past couple of weeks.

The former Everton star is considered an important member of Jose Mourinho's squad but is not happy with the amount of game time he has been getting in this campaign.

The Ligue 1 champions-elect have been free to talk to Fellaini, who is in the last six months of his contract, since January, and there are rumours that he will be offered a four-year contract worth nearly £5.4 million (R88.5 million) a year after tax to leave Old Trafford.

The Belgian's main concern about moving to Paris is whether or not he will be playing regularly or spending most of his time on the bench as he feels he is doing now.

Les Parisiens have plenty of competition for places in their midfield, although Fellaini would seemingly be brought in to replace Thiago Motta, who is set to leave the club at the end of this season.

Fellaini has made 16 appearances for Mourinho's men so far this season, scoring four goals and assisting one further strike.
