Mesut Ozil is reportedly looking at leaving Arsenal if manager Arsene Wenger stays on at the London club beyond this season.
According to Don Balon, the Germany international is tired of the Gunners' lack of silverware, and doesn’t want to continue working under Wenger.
The former Real Madrid midfielder is believed to be keen to return to La Liga, but it is unknown who he would join as Los Blancos are not a likely destination as club president Florentino Perez, who sanctioned his sale to Arsenal, is still in charge.
It has been rumoured that Atletico Madrid may step in for Ozil if the player's situation in London doesn't improve, but any move will ultimately come down to his wage demands.
Valencia and Sevilla are also possible destinations for the German, but the lack of UEFA Champions League football could be a stumbling block in both cases.
Ozil has played more than 100 games for Arsenal since joining in 2013, and has lifted just two FA Cups in that time.
