Reports: Manchester United To Use Anthony Martial In Swap Deal For Wonderkid
English giants Manchester United are reportedly looking at using Anthony Martial in a swap deal that will see the Red Devils snap up a £40 million (R669 million) wonderkid.
According to the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho is keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic, and is considering making a bid for him in the next few weeks.
It has been suggested that the Portuguese tactician is willing to use Martial in a swap deal for the American as he sees the out-of-favour winger as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman has endured three difficult campaigns in England, and is said to be frustrated with life in Manchester and the lack of first team starts with the FA Cup finalists this season.
Pulisic, a USA international, is rated as one of the brightest prospects playing in Europe, and his Bundesliga club is said to value him at about £40 million (R669 million).
The 19-year-old attacker can play down both flanks, and is also regularly used in central positions for his national team.
The Dortmund youth product has made 41 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season, scoring five goals and assisting a further seven strikes.
