Reports: Manchester United Star Still Pushing For Old Trafford Exit

By Keegan Kruger - Feb 27, 2018 09:30 AM @KeeganKruger

A Manchester United star is reportedly still pushing for an Old Trafford exit despite finding his way back into the Red Devils starting XI.

Mourinho: Playing Against Chelsea Means Less And Less

According to The Sun, France international Paul Pogba still wants to leave the English giants at the end of the campaign as he believes his relationship with Jose Mourinho has broken down.

The situation is said to be so bad that the midfielder's agent, Mino Raiola, is apparently looking for a new club for his flamboyant client.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are believed to be the Frenchman's main suitors, but there are rumours that Juventus have a £53 million (R862 million) buyback clause in Pogba's current contract.

The 24-year-old, who cost United £89 million (R1.44 billion), put in a good performance against Chelsea on Sunday, helping his team come from behind to win 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Managers Who've Sold The Most Players Since 2000

The former Serie A star has made 25 appearances for the English club this season, scoring three goals and assisting a further 10 strikes.

Do you think Pogba will soon leave the Red Devils? Have your say in the comments section below.

If Jose continue to treat him like this he may definitely leave, because he'll destroy his career and he will drop his form too

@ the end of the day whatever team he ends up in he should not focus on JM, he should focus on Pogba. Succeed boy and enjoy football and ignore the doubting Thomases. You're an incredible talent. When you played for the old lady you were the best mid-fielder in Italy. We dont need to be convinced.

Its simple.Either he improves or he goes. There is nothing wrong in being benched when other players are playing better. The coach's job is to instruct,so Jose is doing his job, that is why we are second on the log.Pogba should accept that his form has deeped and work hard to improve. For his calibre, position shouldn't be an excuse

JM will make Man Utd players leave. Get rid of him not Pogba. He plays him out of position then he benches him for not performing. JM is too defensive minded. Get rid of him not only is he messing up the players but also the club. We won't win the EPL neither will they win the CL as long as JM is at the helm.

Arsenal must break the bank and buy this boy. He reminds me of one Patric Viera. We all know that French player flourish at Arsenal under Wenger, who is currently floundering.

How the Sun is one of the most bought UK newspapers is beyond me. Nevertheless, Mourinho has surely seen what playing a 4-3-3 can do, and how it allows for players like Pogba to play with a little more freedom. This will blow over after a couple more positive performances. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

It will be so sad to see Paul leave Old Trafford because of Jose and Alexis. Since the arrival of Alexis, Paul has had fights with Jose and I think this is because Jose is giving Alexis more freedom on the pitch than Paul and the other players. A commentator on Sunday's game against Chelsea said something interesting, he said; Man United players are programmed to play strictly according to how Jose wants them to play. And this was proven right as Jose spent more than 5 minutes talking to Lingaard before coming on. Yes he scored but he also knows and other players that they can play a better football.
