Reports: Manchester United Set Paul Pogba’s Huge Price Tag
Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly prepared part ways with Paul Pogba should a club offer them a certain fee for him.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils will demand around £140 million (R2.36 billion) for the France midfielder, who is believed to have fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman and the Portuguese tactician relationship has apparently deteriorated in recent months, as the former Chelsea boss believes Pogba is not playing up to a certain standard.
The Old Trafford side’s board are a bit reluctant to sell the midfielder, two years after paying Serie A giants Juventus a then world record fee of £89 million (R1.5 billion).
Ed Woodward and his team hope that the Mourinho and Pogba can resolve their differences, but it is believed that the pair has hardly spoken this week.
The manager has been on the warpath with his squad this week as he was left extremely frustrated with them after they handed rivals Manchester City the Premier League title.
United are expected to lose around five players at the end of the season and it is unlikely that they will allow Pogba to leave for greener pastures.
The 25-year-old has made 31 appearances for his EPL side this season, scoring five goals and further assisting in 11 more strikes.
