Although it remains to be seen whether or not United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be given the job permanently, it does appear that whoever is the club's manager next season will have millions to spend in the next transfer window.
It is believed the Red Devils have identified four players, in particular, that they would like to lure to Manchester, while a few players could also make their way out of the club.
It has been claimed that one of their main transfer targets is FC Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic, who has often been linked with a move away from the Catalan club in recent windows.
With the arrival of Frenkie de Jong at the Camp Nou next season, a few Spanish publications have reported that the Croatian could be the midfielder who makes way.
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is also said to be on United's radar, as is Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, which could come as a slight surprise for many.
The fourth player is reportedly Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar, a defender many believe would strengthen the side's current backline.
