Manchester United are reportedly considering taking a former star of theirs back to Old Trafford to bolster their attacking options.
Reports: Mourinho Attempts To Hijack Pep's Sanchez Deal
According to the Daily Telegraph, Jose Mourinho is keeping a close eye on West Ham United outcast Javier Hernandez.
The Red Devils are reportedly looking for a back-up option to Romelu Lukaku, with former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic back on the sidelines due to injury.
Many believe that taking Hernandez back to the club could be a stroke of genius by Mourinho as the player is familiar with the surroundings and has played alongside many of the team's current stars before.
The 29-year-old would not be an expensive acquisition as he is apparently not wanted by Hammers boss David Moyes, who has struggled to get the best out of him at two different clubs – the first back in the 2013-14 season at United.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has also been linked with the English giants by the Daily Telegraph, but could cost Mourinho at least £35 million (R588 million).
