News coming out of England suggests that Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea could be involved in an exciting swap deal in the lead-up to deadline day.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues and the Red Devils are considering a deal that could see Brazil international Willian move to Old Trafford, with former Monaco starlet Anthony Martial going the other way.
Both teams apparently value their wingers at £75 million (R1.3 billion), which means a straight swap could be on the cards should both players be interested in the switch.
Jose Mourinho, who is said to be a massive admirer of the Brazilian, is said to be hoping to reunite with the player before deadline day, which is 9 August for English teams.
It has been suggested that the Portuguese tactician is happy to part ways with Martial following his decision to leave United's pre-season tour of the US to be with his partner for the birth of his son, Swan.
Willian has publicly stated he has no intention of leaving the London club in this window, but this is not stopping Mourinho from trying to get his man.
The 29-year-old has made 237 appearances for the Blues since joining the club in 2013, scoring 44 goals along the way.
