Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly "run out patience" with the Red Devils record signing Paul Pogba, and is believed to be ready to replace him with an £89 million (R1.53 billion) rated star.
The Frenchman's relationship with his manager has reportedly "deteriorated rapidly this season", and there are rumours that he has been placed on the club's axe list after a number of poor performances.
According to English publication the Daily Mail, the Portuguese tactician has plans to bring in two midfielders in the next transfer window, one being Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The 23-year-old performances has caught the eye of Europe’s elite this season, and many news agencies expect him to leave Serie A come the end of the current campaign.
The Red Devils have apparently been keeping a close eye on the Serbian throughout the season, and apparently sent scouts out to watch the midfielder in the UEFA Europa League last week.
Milinkovic-Savic, who has been valued at £89 million (R1.53 billion) by Lazio, has made 42 appearances for his Italian club this season, scoring 11 goals and assisting seven further strikes.
