Just days after Manchester City's UEFA Champions League ban was overturned, superstar Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly made a decision on his future with the Citizens.
The Belgian's future in Manchester was uncertain following the club's two-year European ban, which has since been overturned after a successful appeal.
Many wondered if the player, who is widely considered among the best creative midfielders in world football, would be happy staying at City if they were banned from playing in Europe, with his agent recently admitting it would have been natural for him to second-guess his future if the suspension had been upheld.
According to the Metro, though, the Citizens are now confident that De Bruyne will commit his long-term future to the club by signing a new two-year deal in England.
While negotiations have not yet got underway, the board are no longer concerned about the 29-year-old perhaps looking to move elsewhere.

The Belgium international's current contract with the club only expires in 2023, which leaves City in a fortunate position as there is no rush to tie the former Chelsea and Wolfsburg man down to a new deal right now.
