Reports coming out of England suggest that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is already working on ways to bolster his squad in January, and could bring in three players, among them a former Old Trafford superstar.

According to the Daily Express, the Red Devils could make a shock move for La Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and also put in fresh bids for Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld and Chelsea's Willian in the next transfer window.
Mourinho, who has not been happy with how his side's preseason transpired, managed to bring in only three new faces in the latest English window, which closed on 9 August.
United are said to be looking at Ibrahimovic as a goalscoring option come January following his impressive spell in Major League Soccer, where he has scored 15 goals in 18 appearances already.
It has been suggests that the Red Devils will still look to bolster their defence in the next window, and are expected to try to land Alderweireld, who featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Belgium.
The Portuguese tactician is also looking to add creativity to his squad and is believed to be adamant in making an offer for Willian. The Brazilian admitted not too long ago that he would like to play for his former boss again, and Mourinho is hoping to make that a reality.
