Jose Mourinho and his arch-rival Pep Guardiola will reportedly go head to head for a Paris Saint-Germain star at the end of this season.
The two managers, who have a longstanding rivalry on the field and recently in the transfer market, are said to be interested in attracting a certain Frenchman to the Premier League in the coming months.
According to Paris United, both Manchester clubs are looking for midfield reinforcements, and are said to be watching 23-year-old midfielder Adrien Rabiot quite closely.
The youngster, who is currently contracted until 2019, is playing for his boyhood club, but there are reports suggesting that the Frenchman could be interested in playing abroad.
It has been widely reported that United will be in need of midfielders for next season, especially if Marouane Fellaini does not sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
Manchester City apparently see Rabiot as more of a back-up option at this point, with Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred said to be their main target for now.
Rabiot has made 43 appearances for PSG so far this season, scoring five goals and assisting a further seven strikes.
