Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the sale of one of the club's international stars, who has failed to impress in recent times, the go-ahead.

Mourinho Criticises Man Utd Attackers After Shock Loss

According to The Sun, the Portuguese is happy to let go of Anthony Martial, and has approved of his expected transfer to Juventus.

The 22-year-old has come under fire due to his recent performances, and has struggled to cement himself a spot in the club's first team this season.

Martial, a France international, started against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Friday night, but once again failed to impress.

Mourinho was said to be annoyed with the winger's contribution in that fixture, and after the game hinted that his below-par performances, along with those of some other United stars, is the reason why he always puts his faith in Romelu Lukaku.

Martial has been linked with a switch to Serie A giants Juventus, while there have also been rumours he could be offered as part of a swap deal for Chelsea's Willian.
