With more than one manager's job said to be on the line in England, Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a shock return to the Premier League.
According to the Daily Mail, the 56-year-old would be interested in taking over from Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur if the Argentine were to leave his post.
For the first time since he took over at the London club, Pochettino's position appears under serious threat after Spurs' poor start to the season.
The Lilywhites have won just three of their first eight Premier League matches of the campaign, and have tasted defeat against Newcastle United, Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Spurs also suffered a heavy 7-2 defeat at home to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League last week, a result and performance that appalled supporters.
Mourinho would apparently consider accepting an offer from the London club, having reportedly already rejected the chance to return to Benfica and a big-money offer from a team in the Chinese Super League.
The Portuguese tactician is also reportedly open to returning to Real Madrid, whose manager Zinedine Zidane is also believed to be under pressure.
