Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly closing in on a player who is unsettled at his current Premier League club.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are hoping to bring in England and Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose.
The report suggests that Mourinho believes he will be able to get his man after the left back was dropped to the bench for the second Premier League game in a row by Mauricio Pochettino.
Rose was left out of the team for the North London derby against Arsenal, which they lost, and in last weekend's fixture against West Bromwich Albion.
The England international is apparently not happy with his situation at the London club, and this news has been brought attention from the Red Devils.
Some media outlets are reporting that Mourinho is tempted to include struggling Luke Shaw in a deal that could see Rose end up at Old Trafford come the end of January.
The 27-year-old Spurs defender has made only four appearances for the Lilywhites this season – twice in the Champions League and once each in the Premier League and the EFL Cup.
