An FC Barcelona star is reportedly on the verge of signing for a Premier League side after the two teams agreed a €17 million (R268 million) deal.
According to Football Espana, the Blaugrana are "very close" to offloading Colombia international Yerry Mina to Everton, with the player having made just six appearances for the Spanish club so far.
The 23-year-old, who netted three goals at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, was one of his country's standout performers at the global showpiece.
Mina joined the Catalan giants from Brazilian side Palmeiras for a fee of €11.6 million (R183 million) in January, but has struggled to adapt to the pressure and life in Spain.
It has been suggested that the centre-back has agreed personal terms with the Merseyside club already, with just the final signatures apparently needed to conclude the agreement between the two clubs.
Spanish international Gerard Pique and Frenchman Samuel Umtiti, who recently won the World Cup with France, are the club's first-choice centre-back pairing, while Thomas Vermaelen has proven himself an able back-up and Clement Lenglet has arrived from Sevilla.
