It has been reported that Chelsea's staff do not know where a certain star is and fear he may have gone AWOL amid rumours that Real Madrid are pushing for his signature.
Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been heavily linked with Los Blancos in this transfer window, and reportedly wishes to move back to Madrid, where his family still live from when he played for Atletico Madrid.
All of Chelsea's international players were expected to return to training on Monday, but the BBC has now claimed that the Belgian shot-stopper was nowhere to be seen, while Eden Hazard, who is also said to be on Real's radar, was seen at the club's training ground.
Manager Maurizio Sarri recently admitted that he is unsure as to whether or not the 26-year-old goalkeeper will stay at the club following his excellent performances for his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Courtois has reportedly communicated his desire to leave with the Stamford Bridge-based club, and that he does not see his future in England.
The Blues goalkeeper has just one year left on his current contract with the Premier League side, and all reports now seem to suggest he has no intention of finishing his deal.
The player has represented Chelsea on 154 occasions so far, winning two EPL titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup along the way.
